More re-assembly pictures:

bulletWell, time for a lot of time consuming little stuff that does not look like very much:
bulletAlmost all of the electrical is done.
bulletMost of the plumbing is done - just a few odds & ends.
bulletI cannot take pictures of all the wiring until the next time I take the tarp off and roll up the roof. It has been raining a lot lately, so I have been working inside.
bulletLets get into some pictures!

First - Lets get the kitchen countertop done:

Kitchen countertop - sitting in place for layout:

Sink cutout is marked - ready for cutting.

Sink cutout:

Closeup of layout marks for sink.

Starting the cut:

First I use a large holesaw to get the correct radius on the corners.

More sink prep:

Then I put masking tape over the cut lines to prevent chipping of the arborite.

Layout:

Then I flip it over and transfer the marks to the back. Using a sharp carbide finishing blade, I make my cuts from the back.

Finished product:

Voila! There's the kitchen countertop - all finished and installed.

And, a whole bunch of various things from plumbing to electrical to ceiling shots and others.

The A/C:

I set it up on sawhorses to fix it. It draws too much current and blows the breaker. I'll leave it till later.

Converter back in the cabinet:

For now I'll use the old one. It works, but boils the batteries. Going to swap it out later for a nice PD unit with Intelli-charge or whatever you call it.

Wiring still in progress:

Still have to tidy this up and build a temporary distribution center until I replace the converter.

More wiring:

Sink drain in the back, alarm wires sitting on top of it and some misc. sitting there waiting for me to finish.

Sealing up the wheel well:

Thought I may as well do my best to stop any water from entering. I used a waterproof self adhesive membrane here.

Sealing up the wheel well:

Close up of the inside.

Old black water tank:

You cannot see it, but the toilet flange is badly cracked, one of them about 6 inches out into the tank. I decided to scrap it.

New black water tank:

The price was very reasonable. It included putting the fittings in to my specs.

Kinda looks like a little coffin!

Black tank installed:

It is actually further off the ground than it looks. I have the front of the trailer cranked way up due to the slope of my driveway.

Bathroom:

Vanity is done - sink and plumbing all done. Just have to pull the toilet flange and dope the threads.

Bathroom vanity:

Another shot to show the plumbing better.

Bathtub:

tub is secured in place. I'm not going to cover and finish it until I do a water test. Can't do that until all hot water tank is in. Can't do that until the siding is on. Can't do that until etc.

Bathroom ceiling;

Shot straight up from the floor. Plywood covers the vent hole from the roof side.

Bathroom door area:

Can't get back far enough for a decent picture - still have to build the door and mount it here to a ceiling hanger system.

Bathroom:

As seen from the outside of the doorway looking in.

Bedroom:

Base off the bed to expose the fresh water tank.

Plumbing and fresh water:

All the lines are in place and the water pump. The fresh water tank is going to be replaced later with a larger one. This ones too small.

Finished bed:

Well, if I get into the doghouse, I have a place to sleep now. Wheres that foamy........?

Mug shot:

Who is this grinning gargoyle?

Midship shot:

Its taking shape - finally starting to look like something other than an abandoned shed!

Ceiling:

As viewed over the bedroom area. Note the speakers in the ceiling. I put my driver bit right through the one on the right. Grrrr! A brand new speaker - never even uttered a sound before I wrecked it.

More ceiling:

Taken from the bathroom door towards the front.

More finished ceiling:

Over the kitchen area. First hole is a vent, far one is A/C. All the ceiling needs to be completely finished is the batons over the joints. Thats slated for "Final Finish"

Front ceiling:

Forward speakers and bottom of upper bunk. I know the light is crooked - its not screwed down yet. I want to replace them all.

The kitchen:

Got the plumbing all done here - sink in - just have to do the pantry on the right and the shelves underneath.

Fridge vent:

viewed straight up from the bottom. See the tarp on the roof?

Light switches added:

Viewed from inside the fridge cabinet.

Front upper bunk:

Still being used as a catch-all for all my tools, screws and anything else I need to store somewhere.

Kitchen overhead:

I built in a AM/FM/CD/Cassette into the overhead cabinet. Still have to run an antenna through the roof. Going to get an electric extendable.

Close-up of the stereo:

See the little rocker switch on the right? That is to simulate the ignition in the car - Its a car stereo.

Ceiling in entry area:

Similar to last one, but you can see the door and one forward speaker - I put in 4 total - might add a sub-woofer later - maybe.....

Entry/micro shelf:

Finished micro shelf and one of my additions: The light above the door and a switch within reach from the outside. No more fumbling in the dark for a light inside.

Corner of bed:

And water pump switch. Due to the funny angle of the bed, I have to get a custom mattress made. The old one was ruined by the leaky roof.

Front to back:

I got as far forward as I could and put the camera on the floor. Ain't digital great? I like this picture.

Fridge cabinet:

Note the sealant around the various places inside the cabinet. That is to ensure no fumes come in to the living area.

Two identical fridges:

The good one is on the left. I bought a parts fridge and robbed the 12 Volt system from it and converted mine to a 3-way from a 2-way.

Fridge conversion:

Back of the units in the middle of the 3-way conversion.

Fridge:

Close up of the controls as I convert it.

Stove/range hood area:

I found a used stove in better shape than mine. The stove was heavily water damaged and the range hood is destroyed - have not found a replacement yet.

By the way, if anybody noticed the ugly pukey orange frilled blinds and curtain toppers, they are only on there so I can put backing in from the outside for the brackets. I do plan on updating them to something that matches!

That's it for now! I'm up to date with the pictures. I am very close to putting the siding back on. I have not been able to source the molded outside corner caps. I am considering re-skinning the entire trailer, but still in the checking it out phase of that one. gotta find a decent price first.

Stay tuned for the next episode of "This Old Trailer"
